"Dr. Bhupen Hazarika Park" Namrup

  F or a long decades Namrup lacked well-organized park for physical and mental development. Isn't it surprising that there is no park despite having such a big industry? Many people have come to the city for work from different parts of the country for years and then left, their children's have also grown up playing in the open spaces around  quarters without getting any public toy or park. However, the recent arrival of the newly appointed honourable CMD of BVFCL Namrup, Mr. Prasad Mahanti has brought hope to this ailing industry. He undertakes many initiative that people have never seen before with their eyes through his dedicated efforts. Among these, I would like to mention the park today.                 Dilli Ghat is one of the attractions of Namrup. However, many people do not know that there is another attraction in the middle of the town of Namrup that is still a matter of curiosity among many people. There are many people who come to enjoy the place as well as the locals. The "Jack Wall," is a fascinating confluence of natural and man-made materials.The site is located just a few yards from the main road of the BVFCL Limited industry and passes by the stone crusher plants. This Jack Wall is actually a river barrier that artificially changes the course of the river. One of the  flow uses by the factory according to their convenience and the rest of the water flows in another direction.This jack wall looks like a beautiful waterfall. DILLIGHAT T hose beautiful views are captured from  Dilligat  ,nearby Namrup Town and there ends of Dibrugarh district .
